Our brand new Enhanced Learning Provision Garden was opened on Monday 14th January by local MP Sarah Jones.  She said on twitter @laboursj that she had a wonderful morning 'Lovely kids, Lovely staff.  What a pleasure to start the week at South Norwood Primary School'.

Over the christmas holidays a long unused area of the playground has been revamped into a five a side astroturf pitch!  J and C coaching have bought us brand new goals and the children have somewhere to enjoy playing football during playtime, lunchtime and PE lessons.

South Norwood Primary School Head Boy and Head Girl were joined by all the Head Boys and Head Girls from the TPA schools on Monday to remember the old boys and masters of the South Norwood school and all of those who fell in the great war 1914-1918. The children all read poignant words and laid wreaths at the memorial stone  on our playground. It was a great morning where all the children showed phenomenal maturity and respect for those who sacrificed so much for all of us.

in Autumn 1 our safety focus has been on line safety. Everyone has signed an internet agreement and completed a lesson on being safe on line. Then Google came to visit KS2... we had an amazing time!  The children learnt all about internet and social media safety and found many ways to ensure that we stay safe online.  Please ask us what we learnt becasue we are now 'Internet Legends'!
